It's Your Birthday is a song that was first sung by Foxxy Love in the episode Gay Bash. It's a running gag in the series for Foxxy to make references to this song. Other characters also sing this song too. The song is a reference to 50 Cent's single "In da Club".
Lyrics[]
- Foxxy's version
Foxxy: Go Foxxy!
It's your birthday!
Not for real real,
just for play play!
- Ling-Ling's reprise
Ling-Ling: Aba Ling-Ling!
Gota mishi sota!
Oka dimini,
Okata play play!
Continuity[]
This song is referenced to multiple times, later in the series, as a running gag. Mostly in dialogue by Foxxy Love, but sometimes it's sang by other members of the house, only slightly modifying the lyrics to replace the usage of Foxxy's name with their own.
- Shortly after its debut in Gay Bash, Foxxy and the gang ran outside in terror, when they heard that Xandir killed himself, but when it turned out that he had multiple lives, Foxxy said "Oh, thank God you're not dead for real real, just for play play."
- Later in the episode, after Ling-Ling killed the Sweatshop Kids, he sang the song, only in Japorean.
- In Wooldoor Sockbat's Giggle-Wiggle Funny Tickle Non-Traditional Progressive Multicultural Roundtable!, upon seeing that the so-called Wienermobile actually exists, Foxxy claims "The Wienermobile is for real real!"
- In the episode Nipple Ring-Ring Goes to Foster Care, when Uncle Benny sees Foxxy again, he asks her "Is that you for real real, not for play play?"
